Job summary

Grand Forks Public Schools in Grand Forks, ND seeks a KnightRider Speech Advisor for a 21-week contract to set up informational meetings with students, arrange travel and tournament schedules, and run practices several days a week. You will prepare speaking materials and coordinate logistics with coaches and administrators.

Previous coaching/teaching experience and ND teaching certification or a strong background in education are preferred.

Qualifications

• ND Teaching certification or professional background in education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up informational meeting with students.
• Set up a tournament/travel schedule (coordinated with the coach and AD).
• Run regular practices (at least three days a week).
• Prepare speaking materials for students.
• Coordinate travel and transportation (with coach and AD).
• Construct trip sheets for each tournament for administration, students, and parents.
• Supervise weekend tournaments.
• Judge at tournaments.
• Collaborate with high school and middle school coaches for travel.
• Find and select judges for tournaments.
• Complete registration forms.
• Coordinate and host an end of year awards ceremony.
