Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver personalized therapy and support to patients recovering communication skills. You will evaluate and treat swallowing and speech disorders, document progress, and collaborate with a compassionate team dedicated to patient-centered care.

This role requires current licensure, CCC certification, CPR, and a master’s degree (or bachelor’s with relevant experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (Certification of Clinical Competence) is required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
