Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our nationwide inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, develop and administer personalized speech-language therapy plans to help patients regain communication skills and confidence.

Powered by cutting-edge technology and a supportive culture, you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to track progress, adjust treatments and celebrate small victories along the patient’s recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC Certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence) is required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Bachelor’s degree with field experience
