Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Las Vegas is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our patient-focused team. You will evaluate, plan, and administer personalized speech and language therapies to help patients regain communication skills in a supportive inpatient setting.

A strong candidate will hold current state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR (or obtain within 30 days). A master’s degree is preferred, or a bachelor’s degree with relevant field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC Certification (Certification of Clinical Competence).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as needed.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
