Job summary

Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive evaluation of cognitive and communication skills and swallowing function, and to deliver goal-oriented treatment to maximize communication and swallowing potential.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology meeting ASHA CCC-SLP requirements, Nevada state licensure, ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or CFY), and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology meeting ASHA CCC requirements.
  • Nevada State License as a Certified Speech Pathologist (CCC-SLP).
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship year.
  • Current BLS certification.

Job Description

Responsible for providing a comprehensive evaluation of cognitive, communication skills and/or swallowing function and providing goal‑oriented treatment to facilitate maximum communication and/or swallowing potential.

Qualifications
Education

Masters Degree from a university program satisfying the ASHA academic and intern requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence.

Experience

One (1) to two (2) years experience preferred.

License/Certification

Nevada State License as a Certified Speech Pathologist. ASHA CCC-SLP certification or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship year. Current BLS certification.

Other

Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
