Atrium Medical Center is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for Acute Care & Inpatient settings on a PRN basis (2 weekend days per month). The clinician will conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide targeted therapy for speech, cognitive, and dysphagia disorders, on a one-to-one or small group basis.
Responsibilities include direct patient care, progress reporting, and patient/family education. Licensing in Ohio and ongoing CEUs are required; BLS and ASHA CCC certification are preferred.
The Speech Pathologist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment to patients. Will provide direct patient care and will monitor and report the patient’s progress. The Speech Pathologist performs speech-language, cognitive, or dysphagia treatments on a one-to-one or group basis. Access to Medication Room is required to perform the assigned job function. Completes required documentation and provides appropriate patient and/or family teaching.
Will also participate in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. This position is responsible for maintaining certification and/or licensure, achieving all continuing education requirements, demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Speech Pathology Program.
Licensure: Current license in State of Ohio to practice speech pathology. Maintain CEUs for licensure renewal.

Experience: Prefer a minimum of one-year experience.
