Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs. You will develop and administer individualized plans, track progress, and adjust therapies as needed in a leading inpatient rehabilitation setting.

The role requires current licensure, CCC certification, and CPR certification (or within 30 days of hire). Master’s degree preferred or Bachelor’s with field experience.

Qualifications

• CCCs are required for certification eligibility.
• CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
