Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Salisbury is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan and administer customized speech-language rehabilitation for patients. You will work within a collaborative team of clinicians to improve communication and swallowing outcomes in an inpatient setting.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, timely notes, and patient-centered care, with opportunities for professional growth and access to advanced therapy tools in a national rehabilitation

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification is required or expected.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as needed.
• Track and document patient performance, progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories and progress along the care journey.
