Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of St. Augustine is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and administer personalized speech and language therapy for our patients.

You will work in a supportive, patient-centered environment within a leading national inpatient rehabilitation provider. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, tracking patient progress, and adjusting therapy as needed, with opportunities for professional growth and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
