Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Altamonte Springs seeks a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, design, and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language needs.

You will identify issues, adjust therapy as needed, and diligently document patient progress while celebrating small victories along the journey in a supportive inpatient rehab environment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification either current or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
