Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Las Vegas is seeking a Speech Pathologist to help patients overcome speech and language challenges in a supportive, patient-centered setting.

You will evaluate, develop and adjust individualized treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at a national inpatient rehabilitation leader that values growth, empathy and excellence.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification completed.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master’s degree preferred

Bachelor’s degree with field experience
