Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver specialized therapy and support to patients across our inpatient rehabilitation network in Alabama. You will develop and manage individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize communication outcomes.

The role requires active state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR within 30 days of hire, with a Master's degree preferred or a Bachelor's plus field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
