Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeview is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs. You will develop personalized plans, monitor progress, and adjust treatments to maximize communication outcomes. A collaborative team and cutting-edge resources support your daily impact.

The role requires state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR within 30 days of hire. A Master’s degree is preferred or a Bachelor’s with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
