Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeview is hiring a Speech Pathologist to support patients with speech and communication needs. You will evaluate, plan and deliver personalized therapy in a supportive inpatient setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold current state licensure, CCC, CPR certification, and have a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology (or Bachelor's with field experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred; or Bachelor's degree with field experience.
• CCC certification (ASHA) is required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify therapy as needed to improve communication.
• Track and document patient progress and outcomes.
• Celebrate patient victories and support overall rehabilitation goals.
