Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeview is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech and language disorders in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

You will develop personalized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust therapies to maximize outcomes, while documenting results and celebrating patient milestones, in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification must be achieved.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
