Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Middletown seeks a Speech Pathologist dedicated to helping patients overcome speech and communication challenges in a supportive, compassionate environment. You will develop and administer personalized treatment plans and track progress as part of a nationwide inpatient rehabilitation leader.

Required licensure/certification, CCC, and CPR (or within 30 days of hire).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master’s degree preferred

Bachelor’s degree with field experience
