Job summary

Encompass Health in Taft, CA is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, develop, and implement personalized therapy plans for patients with speech and language needs. You will document progress and adjust treatments to maximize outcomes within a supportive inpatient/outpatient setting.

The role requires current licensure or CCC, CPR certification (or within 30 days), and a Master's degree preferred (Bachelor's with experience acceptable).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (Speech-Language Pathology) required.
• CPR certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
