Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeview is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver evidence-based therapy to patients with speech and language challenges in a supportive environment.

You will evaluate and implement personalized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote optimal outcomes across inpatient rehabilitation. A commitment to compassionate care and continuing education is essential.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
