Job summary

Encompass Health in Iowa is seeking a Speech Pathologist to help patients overcome speech and communication challenges in a supportive, caring environment.

You will evaluate, design, and administer personalized treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a team in a nationwide inpatient rehabilitation leader. A Master’s degree and CCC certification are required, CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree preferred or Bachelor's degree with field experience
