Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs in an inpatient setting. You will assess, modify therapy as needed, track progress, and celebrate patient victories with a dedicated team.

Qualified candidates hold state licensure, CCC, CPR (within 30 days), and a Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s with related experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
