Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from a school approved by ASHA.
• Current licensure with the California Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Board (SLPAB). CCC-SLP certification from ASHA.

Responsibilities

• Administers diagnostic tests of articulation, language, cognitive language, and related areas.
• Assists in evaluating communicative abilities and conducts screenings.
• Carries out treatment of communicative disorders using current principles and prepares audio-visual aids.
• Counsels patients and families, teaches home treatment, and assists training of student clinicians.
• Keeps records and participates in inter-disciplinary staff meetings and rounds.
