Job summary

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from ASHA-approved program.
  • Current California licensure for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Administers diagnostic tests of articulation, language, hearing, voice and fluency.
  • Evaluates communicative abilities and conducts audiological screenings.
  • Delivers speech therapy using current theory and practice; documents progress.
  • Counsels patients and families; trains staff and students in therapy principles.
  • Maintains records and participates in interdisciplinary rounds.
