Johns Hopkins Medicine in Maryland is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist specializing in Pediatrics-Acute Care to provide evaluation, program planning and treatment within Speech-Language Pathology. You will document care and educate patients, families, hospital staff and students while promoting professional growth and high-quality care.

The role offers a full-time, dayshift schedule (Monday–Friday) in an acute care setting with licensure, CPD, and ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship.
• Infant feeding/swallowing experience required.
• Acute care experience preferred.
• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current state licensure required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation, program planning and treatment within Speech-Language Pathology.

The Speech Language Pathologist specializing in Pediatrics-Acute Care:

Provides evaluation, program planning and treatment referred to Speech Language Pathology.The job duties are to provide assessments and treatment activities with patients.Provides documentation of the above and education to patients, families, hospital staff, and students.Ensures that all patients are supported in reaching their maximum potential through high-quality care and contributions to medical management provided by the Speech-Language Pathologist, while also promoting the therapist’s ongoing professional growth and contributions to the medical center.

Shift

Full time- 40 hours per week- Dayshift- Monday -Friday

Work Experience

Successful completion of Speech Language Pathology Clinical FellowshipInfant feeding/swallowing experience required.Acute care experience preferred.

Education

Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.Current State licensure as Speech Language Pathologist requiredCertificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association preferred.Current CPR certification.

Salary Range

Minimum $34.62/hour - Maximum $57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
