Job summary

Van Matre Encompass Health Rehabilitation Institute in Peoria, IL is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our national inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech and language disorders, developing personalized plans and collaborating with a supportive, outcome-focused team.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC certification from ASHA.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
