Job summary

Articulate Allied Health is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join as an independent contractor, delivering high-quality, client-centred Speech Pathology services across Melbourne, including paediatric and adult clients. The role offers clinical autonomy and flexibility to build a caseload aligned with your interests and availability.

The position supports face-to-face sessions in school, home or community settings and Telehealth interventions, with opportunities to work with NDIS

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in Speech Pathology is required.
• Experience providing speech pathology services to paediatric and adult clients.
• Ability to work autonomously in various community settings.

Responsibilities

• Assessments, therapy and individualised intervention planning.
• Support children with speech, language and communication needs.
• Support adults with communication, cognitive-communication or swallowing needs within scope of practice.
• Provide face-to-face (school, home, community settings) and Telehealth Speech Pathology interventions.
• Work with NDIS participants, Medicare and Private clients.
• Prepare assessment reports, progress reports and other required documentation (NDIS).
• Collaborate with families, support coordinators and other health professionals.
• Undertake non-face-to-face services, including developing therapy resources and client plans.
• Deliver services across South-East Melbourne suburbs, with potential expansion to preferred locations.
