Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Huntington Hospital Employee Login Expectations: The primary setting for this position is Inpatient Rehabilitation/Acute Rehabilitation Unit with occasional floating to the acute hospital required. Performs diagnostic evaluation of patients with communication disorders and administers speech and language treatment to patients. Participates in the management of patient care to include identification of communicative disorders' diagnosis; linking and scheduling patient with required services, monitoring care delivery, advocating for the patient, and evaluating outcomes. The Speech Pathologist facilitates patient care across the health care continuum, and assists other team members. This position requires flexibility of hours.

EDUCATION: Masters degree in Speech pathology, Language Pathology, or Communicative Disorders required. EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: Determined by patient care area with 1 year related practice experience preferred. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Required: Current unrestricted Speech Pathologist License (SLP) issued by state of California Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensary Board Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.

Job Title: Speech Pathologist Department: Speech-Language Pathology Shift Duration: 8 Primary Shift: Days Time Type: Full time Location: 100 W California Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91105 Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $48.62 - $74.15. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
