St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System in Savannah, GA seeks an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive, swallowing and voice disorders across the lifespan.
You will work with a multidisciplinary team to implement ASHA-guided therapy and participate in program development and marketing. Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based evaluations, communicating progress with families and physicians, and contributing to department marketing
Diagnoses and treats speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders for the infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient based on current standards and guidelines of ASHA. Provides patient/family education to maximize swallowing and communication outcomes. Involved in program development and marketing.
Education
Masters of Speech/Language Pathology - Required
Experience
1-2 Years Clinical - Preferred
License & Certification
After Clinical Fellowship completed, National Certification required within 12 months of filling this position.
Paid Clinical Experience temporary permits are acceptable to fill position, Professional License with State of Practice Required within 12 months of filling this position.
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
