Position Summary

Responsible for the evaluation and provision of speech therapy services to children; the accompanying written documentation and verbal communication needed to administer care including provider orders; provides patient/family/caregivers, staff, and student training; provides a safe, clean environment; provides proper care for departmental equipment; manages time effectively and promotes patient/family, provider, and intradepartmental satisfaction. All of the positions' duties are performed within Children's MN Standards of Behavior.

This is a float position with potential coverage at Maple Grove, Roseville, Minnetonka, Rogers, St. Paul, and Lakeville. There is also potential for inpatient coverage. If the candidate is interested in training for inpatient, they must participate in the weekend and holiday rotation (one out of every four weekends).

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree from an accredited speech language pathology program.
2. Certificate of Clinical Competence or in Clinical Fellowship Year.
3. Minnesota Department of Health license.
4. BLS Certification.
5. Pediatric experience preferred.
