Must be licensed as a ASHA Certified Speech Language Pathologist to be Eligible- CCC-SLP

Location: Remote/Virtual

Responsibilities

  • Virtual Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough virtual assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in students. Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Collaborate with special education teams to develop and implement virtual IEPs, ensuring speech-language therapy goals align with students' academic and functional needs.
  • Teletherapy: Provide individual and group therapy sessions virtually to address communication and swallowing challenges. Utilize teletherapy platforms and technology to engage students in meaningful interventions.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document student progress in the virtual environment, adjusting intervention plans as needed. Maintain effective communication with teachers, parents, and other team members to ensure coordinated support for each student.
  • Collaboration with Virtual Educators: Work closely with virtual teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff to integrate speech-language goals into the curriculum. Provide training and support for educators as needed.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • 2 Years Minimum of working as school based SLP
  • Experience with virtual assessments and teletherapy platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a virtual setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a virtual multidisciplinary team.
