Job summary

Samaritan Medical Center seeks a Speech Pathologist to join our team on-site. A Master’s degree in Speech Pathology and NYS licensure are required, with BLS certification obtainable within 3 months. Experience with geriatric patients and early CFY eligibility per ASHA guidelines are preferred.

Position is full-time, 80-day shift hours, with standard outpatient flow and support from the Speech Therapy department. The role offers on-site collaboration in a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech Pathology from an approved school of Speech Language Pathology.
• New York State license and registration in Speech/Language Pathology.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Experience with Geriatric population.
• Eligible to begin a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as specified by the ASHA. Registration must be obtained within one year or as per state law.
