Job summary

Cross Country Education in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K–12 students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

You will assist with direct treatment, screenings, and data collection, while collaborating with school staff to meet student goals across elementary and secondary settings.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Completion of an SLPA training program.
• AZ SLPA license and IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• School-based experience preferred.

Position Overview

• Provide speech and language services to K–12 students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Assist with direct treatment, screenings, and individualized activities that support students’ communication and language development.
• Collect student performance data, document progress, and maintain accurate service records.
• Collaborate with the Speech-Language Pathologist and school staff to support student goals across elementary and secondary educational settings.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
• Completion of a certified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant training program
• Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License
• Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• School-based experience and proficiency with technology, documentation, and data collection tools preferred
