Candor invites you to join our team as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, collaborating with an SLP to support students with communication needs in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid licensure as an Assistant in Speech-Language Pathology (TDLR).
• Current CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with communication needs.
• Assist in evaluation and intervention: support assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Implement therapy plans: execute activities and plans designed by the SLP to meet student needs.
• Monitor communication tools: setup and maintain AAC devices for students.
• Data collection and reporting: record progress and outcomes to support IEP goals.
• Collaborative support: participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions.
