Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to empower students and schools while balancing work-life commitments.

You will work with an SLP to support assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, implement therapy plans, and help manage AAC devices and data collection for IEP goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CSD or SLP from an accredited program.
• Valid licensure as an Assistant in Speech-Language Pathology by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
• Current CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation and intervention with the supervising SLP to support assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Implement therapy activities and intervention plans designed by the SLP to meet students’ individualized needs.
• Monitor setup, use, and maintenance of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices for students.
• Data collection and reporting of student progress, observations, and outcomes to support data-driven interventions and IEP goals.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary meetings, such as IEP discussions, to contribute insights and advocate for students’ communication needs.
