Job summary

Nisma Therapy Services LLC in Fairbanks, Alaska, seeks a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLPA) to join our small, dynamic practice. You will meet new patients, assess speech needs, and create personalized treatment plans to help them reach their goals.

You will also be documenting all patient care, observing and participating in treatment, and adjusting goals and milestones as needed for the best possible outcomes.

Qualifications

• Alaska state licensure or eligibility required.
• Degree: Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Licensed or eligible to obtain state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients for the first time in their speech journey, answering introductory questions
• Assist in implementing the treatment plan, adjusting as needed to ensure successful outcomes
• Maintaining excellent records of patient needs, care, and outcome
• Work closely with the family of the patients and the patients itself to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for success
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress
• SLPA applicants will assist the SLP in providing therapy services

Job Summary
