Hall County Schools is hiring a Speech Language Pathology Aide to support the Supervising Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting. A Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Disorders or related field is required.

The role involves assisting with therapeutic programs, screenings, and documentation, along with parent communication and AAC device instruction, under supervision. Location varies within Hall County, GA.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the SLP in developing a balanced oral communication and speech improvement program for students.
• Assist the SLP in providing a therapeutic program to meet individual needs of students with speech/hearing impairments.
• Assist the SLP in articulation, voice, hearing, fluency, or language assessments without clinical interpretation.
• Assist the SLP in screening to identify students with speech impairment at regular intervals and at specified levels without clinical interpretation.
• Follow documented treatment plans or protocols developed by the supervising SLP.
• Document student performance and report this information to the supervising SLP.
• Program and provide instruction in the use of AAC devices.
• Provide information, support, and counseling to parents and families when appropriate and under the guidance of the supervising SLP.
