Job summary

Therapy 2000 in Texas is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist with feeding experience for our home-based pediatric services in Cypress/Hockley. You’ll evaluate children, design therapy plans, and partner with families and physicians to support growth and communication.

This role offers flexibility to work across patient visits, a sign-on bonus, mileage reimbursement, PTO, comprehensive health coverage, and access to ongoing continuing education.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Speech Language Pathology license.
• Minimum 3 years as a pediatric SLP.
• Experience in home-health settings.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Create home exercise programs with caregivers.
• Collaborate with other providers to coordinate care.
• Meet minimum weekly patient visit requirements.
• Complete chart updates and progress summaries timely.
• Adhere to agency policies, ethics, and state/federal regulations.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

• A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric speech language pathology.
