Job summary

THERAPY 2000 is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to deliver home-based therapy to Texas children in Richmond/Rosenberg, with a required focus on feeding therapies. This role emphasizes clinical excellence, collaboration, and ongoing education in a mission-driven team.

The successful candidate will have an active Texas SLP license, 3+ years in pediatrics, and experience with home-health services, feeding therapy, and related certifications.

Qualifications

• Current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in Texas.
• 3+ years as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
• Experience in a home-health setting.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine therapy needs.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Create home exercise programs with caregivers.
• Coordinate care with other providers and disciplines in the patient’s medical neighborhood.
• Meet a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
• Complete chart updates, progress summaries, call logs and other required paperwork.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

• A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.

• 3+ years as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience in a home-health setting.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.)

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric speech language pathology.
