Job summary

Liricare is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist in Upper Lake, California to support a high school class of students with severe disabilities. You will deliver communication and functional academics, lead IEPs, and collaborate with SLT, OT, PT, and families.

Responsibilities

  • Teach a high-needs high school class serving students with severe disabilities, typically 8–12 students with paraeducator support.
  • Deliver instruction in functional academics, communication, social-emotional learning, daily living, and vocational skills.
  • Lead compliant, student-centered IEPs with measurable goals and consistent progress monitoring.
  • Collaborate closely with related services teams (SLP, OT, PT), school psychologists, and general education partners.
  • Implement AAC, visual supports, and evidence-based behavior strategies in alignment with BIPs.
  • Coordinate transition planning and work-based learning, including community-based instruction where appropriate.
  • Provide clear direction, coaching, and schedules for paraeducators to ensure consistent student support.

What You’ll Need

Compensation and Benefits
  • Hourly: $60/hour on W2 and $75 on 1099, based on experience
