CARIN Alliance is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a hospital-based role focused on evaluating and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in SLP from an accredited program.
• CFY completion and ASHA CCC or equivalent.
• Active California SLP license.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

• Provide evidence-based SLP services and document to regulatory standards.

Job description

Join our team as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a hospital setting, focusing on evaluating and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders in an inpatient rehabilitation environment.
Responsibilities include collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, providing evidence-based services, and ensuring documentation meets regulatory standards.
Qualifications Include a

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion and ASHA's CCC or equivalent
• Active California SLP license
• Current BLS certification
  

Experience in inpatient rehab or acute care is preferred, with availability for weekend coverage.
Additional skills in dysphagia management, instrumental assessments, and teamwork in discharge planning are advantageous.
Work hours are Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend shifts. The role involves contributing to patient recovery through comprehensive SLP services, supporting improved communication and safe swallowing practices.
