Job summary

Liberty Public Schools seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to identify students with communication disabilities, plan and implement treatment to minimize impact on learning, and develop effective treatment plans.

You will collaborate with parents, teachers, physicians, and staff, coordinate IEPs and progress reports, and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with DESE and ASHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP and state licensure required.
• Background check required.
• Must maintain license.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assess students’ communication skills and determine program eligibility.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, physicians, and staff.
• Coordinate meetings and IEPs, pre-referral staffing, and progress reports.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and educational materials.
• Instruct students in use of communication technologies.
• Instruct support staff and family members.
• Interact with students to educate and support learning.
• Interpret medical reports to ensure compliant plans.
• Maintain files and records for reference and compliance.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and seminars.
• Provide aural rehabilitative and counseling services.
• Research resources and methods to address needs.
• Respond to inquiries or referrals.
