Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Irmo is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide specialized therapy for patients with speech and language needs, using state-of-the-art tools in a supportive hospital setting.

You will evaluate, tailor treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help patients regain communication abilities and confidence.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility by state regulations.
• CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree is preferred; or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsabilités

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identifying issues and modifying therapy as needed.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance and progress.
• Celebrating patient victories and maintaining motivation throughout rehabilitation.

Formation

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Bachelor's degree with field experience
