Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Irmo is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and provide speech and language therapy to patients in a supportive inpatient setting.

You will assess, adapt, and document progress, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve communication outcomes for patients and their families in a community-focused hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification in speech-language pathology.
• CPR certification required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred; Bachelor's degree with relevant experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop personalized speech-language treatment plans.
• Assess progress and adjust therapy as needed.
• Document patient performance and outcomes.
• Contribute to a collaborative patient-centered care team.
