Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Irmo seeks a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs in a compassionate, patient-centered setting. You will develop personalized plans, monitor progress, and document outcomes while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a nationally recognized post-acute care system.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC (Speech-Language Pathology Certification).
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
