Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - SLPA Supervisor

Full-Time or Part-Time | School-Based | Connecticut

The Speech Pathology Group and Rehab Services of CT (SPGCT) is seeking an experienced, highly organized Speech-Language Pathologist to serve as an SLPA Supervisor for the school year.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced SLP who enjoys teaching, mentoring, problem-solving, and supporting the growth of other clinicians. The primary focus of this position will be supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) working within school settings, with the potential to provide additional supervision and support within our outpatient clinics.

What You'll DoAs An SLP Supervisor, You Will

• Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to assigned SLPAs
• Conduct direct and indirect supervision in accordance with Connecticut requirements
• Review documentation, treatment plans, data collection, and clinical performance
• Help SLPAs develop strong clinical reasoning and treatment skills
• Provide feedback, coaching, modeling, and hands-on teaching
• Collaborate with school teams, SPGCT leadership, and other SLPs
• Help troubleshoot challenging cases and support appropriate treatment planning
• Ensure supervision requirements and documentation are completed accurately and on time
• Support consistency and quality of services across assigned school programs
• Potentially supervise SLPAs working within SPGCT outpatient clinics

Who We're Looking For

Required

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Connecticut SLP license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing SLP
• Experience working in school-based settings
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple clinicians, schedules, and supervision requirements

Schedule

We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates.

The position will primarily support our school-based SLPA program during the school year. Depending on the candidate's interests and availability, there may also be opportunities to provide supervision or clinical support within our outpatient locations.
