Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Senior Living Visits

Join BAYADA Home Health Care as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) performing senior living visits. This per diem role services adult and geriatric patients in senior living communities throughout Lincolnton, NC.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing, helping clients remain at home.

Responsibilities

1. Make home visits to clients in designated areas.
2. Perform evaluations, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, communication, or swallowing issues.
3. Develop and revise treatment plans based on evaluations and physician’s orders.
4. Educate patients and families on rehabilitative activities to promote health and independence.
5. Document care and interventions accurately using a tablet.

Qualifications

• Current NC Speech Language Pathologist license.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or equivalent, or in the process of obtaining it.
• Solid computer skills; experience with EMR preferred.
