Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Senior Living Visits

Join BAYADA Home Health Care as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for senior living visits. This per diem role services adult and geriatric patients in senior living communities throughout Lincolnton, NC.

As an SLP in home care, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing, enabling clients to remain at home.

Responsibilities:

1. Make home visits to clients within designated areas.
2. Conduct evaluations to diagnose and treat speech, language, communication, or swallowing issues.
3. Develop and revise treatment plans based on evaluations and physician’s orders.
4. Collaborate with the care team and educate patients and families.
5. Document all care activities accurately using electronic tablets.

Qualifications:

1. Current NC Speech Language Pathologist license.
2. Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or equivalent qualifications.
3. Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
