Job summary

Ro Health is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school setting within the Greater Chino area. The caseload is at one site, primarily pre-k through 12, with an ASAP start.

The role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy tailored to each student’s needs. Responsibilities include evaluating speech, language, and swallowing disorders, using standardized tools, counseling families, and training in assistive technologies.

Qualifications

• CA SLP license in good standing required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• State and contract-specific compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across ages.
• Use standardized tests, observations, and interviews to gather diagnostic information.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with setting-specific, measurable goals.
• Provide therapy for articulation, fluency, language delays, and disorders.
• Counsel individuals and families on communication challenges and progress.
• Train and integrate assistive technologies to support daily living.
• Perform screenings to identify at-risk individuals and implement preventive measures.

Overview:

• Setting: in-person, school
• Schedule: M - F
• $90/hour+ for qualified SLPs
• Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
• Use standardized tests, observations, and interviews to gather information for diagnosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting specific and measurable goals tailored to the needs of each client.
• Provide therapy to individuals with speech and language disorders, including articulation disorders, fluency disorders, language delays, and language disorders.
• Provide counseling and support to individuals and their families, addressing emotional and social aspects of communication disorders
• Integrate and train individuals in the use of assistive technologies that can enhance communication and daily living
• Conduct screenings to identify individuals at risk for speech and language disorders and implement preventive measures

Qualifications:

• Relevant SLP experience
• Current CA state SLP license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• State and contract-specific compliance requirements
• Current CTC
