Job summary

Ro Health is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist for an in-person school setting in the Greater Fresno area. The role is M-F with a starting rate of $90/hour+ for qualified SLPs and ASAP start.

You will assess, diagnose and treat children across pre-K to high school, develop individualized plans, and support families while utilizing assistive technologies as needed. Benefits available to eligible providers.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in school settings.
• Valid CA state SLP license in good standing.
• CPR/BLS certification current and active.
• Familiarity with state and contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language and swallowing disorders across ages.
• Use standardized tests, observations and interviews for diagnosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide therapy for articulation, language, fluency and related disorders.
• Counsel individuals and families on communication strategies.
• Train and integrate assistive communication technologies.
• Conduct screenings and preventive language assessments.

Overview:

• Setting: in-person, school
• Schedule: M - F
• $90/hour+ for qualified SLPs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
• Use standardized tests, observations, and interviews to gather information for diagnosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting specific and measurable goals tailored to the needs of each client.
• Provide therapy to individuals with speech and language disorders, including articulation disorders, fluency disorders, language delays, and language disorders.
• Provide counseling and support to individuals and their families, addressing emotional and social aspects of communication disorders
• Integrate and train individuals in the use of assistive technologies that can enhance communication and daily living
• Conduct screenings to identify individuals at risk for speech and language disorders and implement preventive measures

Qualifications:

• Relevant SLP experience
• Current CA state SLP license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• State and contract-specific compliance requirements
