Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc. (Powerback Pediatrics) seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide school-based therapy for children across Long Island and NYC.

You will evaluate progress, deliver services per IEPs, and collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to support individual goals. The role involves thorough documentation, ongoing communication with IEP teams, and participation in professional development through free CEUs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in SLP or ASHA-acceptable field.
• ASHA CCC or CF eligibility.
• Licensed/credentialed as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Therapy services to children in the school setting.
• Performs evaluations and assessments and tracks child progress.
• Delivers Speech Therapy services as mandated in the IEP.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support the goals of each child.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.

Education

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or ASHA-acceptable field

ASHA CCC or eligibility for CF/CF status

Qualifications

• Must possess a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

• Must possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow, or ASHA clinical fellowship (CF status).

• Must be licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.

Posted Salary Range

USD $70.00 - USD $90.00 /Hr.
