Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc., a Powerback Pediatrics company, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Early Intervention program serving children across Long Island and NYC. You will provide therapy in home or center settings, perform evaluations, and document progress according to IFSP goals.

You will collaborate with families, caregivers, educators and other professionals to support each child's communication development, while maintaining compliant documentation and pursuing ongoing

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• ASHA CCC or eligible CF/CF status.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed as required in the state.
• DOH approval required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Therapy services to children in the Early Intervention program in home or center settings.
• Perform evaluations and track child progress.
• Deliver Speech Therapy services as mandated in the IFSP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators and other professionals to support each child's goals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Therapy services to children in a variety of settings in the Early Intervention program which may include the home or center.

• Performs evaluations and assessments and tracks child progress.

• Delivers Speech Therapy services as mandated in the IFSP.

• Collaborate with other families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support the goals of each child.

• Complete documentation and progress notes.

Qualifications

• Must possess a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

• Must possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow, or ASHA clinical fellowship (CF status).

• Must be licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.

• DOH approval is required.

Posted Salary Range

USD $70.00 - USD $75.00 /Hr.
